Vybe Chekk's waitlist and website are not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
The Vybe Chekk app includes an optional Find Friends feature that helps you connect with people you already know who are also using Vybe Chekk. This feature is entirely optional and is never a requirement for using the app.
If you choose to use Find Friends, the app will request permission to access your device's contacts. This permission request follows your device's standard system prompt (iOS or Android), and you may decline it without affecting your ability to use the rest of the app.
When you grant access, your contacts' phone numbers are converted into a secure, one-way hashed format before being checked against Vybe Chekk's existing user base to identify matches. We do not store, retain, or otherwise use the raw, readable phone numbers or names from your contact list. Only the fact that a match exists, and the resulting suggested connection, is kept.
You can revoke contacts access at any time through your device's system settings. Revoking access stops future matching but does not automatically remove connections already established through a prior match. You can disconnect from any individual connection at any time within the app.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, particularly as we approach the Vybe Chekk app launch and begin collecting additional categories of information through the app itself. We will notify waitlist subscribers by email of any material changes before they take effect, and the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
